By Megan Anna Neff, PhD. Adams Media, 2024.

This is a bite-sized, invaluable resource for anyone with an autistic neurotype to work on incorporating more meaningful, practical self care (not, to reference an earlier Bibliotherapy entry, the bubble bath and crystals self care, the REAL self care).

From the wonderful, AuDHD psychotherapist Dr. Megan Anna Neff, this book breaks down meaningful psychotherapy interventions and robust coping strategies into brief vignettes that anyone can pick up and digest, no matter their level of overwhelm, available spoons, or competing sensory needs in their lives. The clients I've recommended it to have sworn by its usefulness, and as another person who finds it incredibly useful, I can attest to it myself.

For more about Dr. Megan Anna Neff's wonderful work creating insight and understanding around neurodivergence, as well as how to access all her resources, not just this book, check out her website.
